Nike is constantly reinventing itself internally, and when new groups are created they need to make their mission and capabilities known to the larger company.
As part of a presentation given by one of those new groups, I had the opportunity to build a system of animations that would play out as the verbal component was given in front of the audience. Using a minimal illustration style, done amazingly well by friends at Skinny Ships, I created a library of gifs that could be mixed and matched as needed by the presenter.

Ultimately, it was all tied into one long video with some secret info in it, so I can’t show the finished piece, but below are a couple examples of the kind of simple gif animations and illustrations that were made.
The animation was really successful in helping the new group connect with other departments across the company, and should result in some cool innovations in the future.

I helped create the concept, storyboards, animation, and the edit. Subsequent edits were handled by Josh Spivey.
