A retro-futuristic, psychedelic journey through the history of ice cream.
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with The Urgent Company on their new brand of ice cream called Brave Robot. And in addition to the many pints of ice cream I consumed, I also got to help Creative Direct and then animate this fun spot.
As part of the brand launch, I was brought in to work with the in-house creative team to develop an eye-catching brand announcement video. The team already had a couple collage style moodboards put together, and I thought it might be fun to use those as a visual foundation, s well as create a look that was both nostalgic and futuristic at the same time.
The design team and leadership suite loved it, and extended the look throughout their first few campaigns. Let’s call this one a huge success and celebrate with some ice cream that is not dairy but also is classified as dairy because of the molecularly identical protein structure!
